Juniors


A big focus of the club is to provide training for Juniors, so what do you need to know?

The youngest age is 8yrs old on the 31st December in the current year.

To take part in a swim session you must be able to swim 50m.  Swimming coaching is about improving your technique not teaching you to swim.  If you can’t swim you are welcome to come to the Bike and Run sessions until you learn .

The distances for the age groups are

 

Don’t worry if you think you’ll struggle to manage a distance for your age, we’ll teach you.

 

What do you need

Swimming

  • Swimwear
  • Goggles
  • Towel

Bike

  • Any bike, though it should be maintained (a mountain bike is OK it doesn’t have to be a road bike)
  • A helmet.  No helmet, No ride

Running

  • Running Shoes
  • Comfortable clothing
