A big weekend of events with club members competing at home and abroad.
First up and huge congratulations to Dave Smith who came 9th in his age group in the Duathlon World Championships in Spain and 3rd Brit to cross the finish line.
On Saturday morning at Strathclyde Kevin MacArthur got 3rd in his age group and secured his place for Team GB at the Sprint European Championships next year in Dusseldorf.
On Saturday afternoon Sam Glass qualified for the IRC team later this year in the Tristars 2 age group.
Sunday morning we had Gav Munn going well at Stirling coming in as 4th Veteran.
At the same time down in Northumberland we had a few members doing the their first sprint and standard races with Andrew Hepburn winning the U20 age group in the standard.
The weekend was finished off with a clean sweep on the podium for the 15/16yr boys at Stirling with Johnny Jackson, Andrew Rolland and Forbes Jackson taking the honours.
Well done as well to all the other juniors taking part at Strathclyde and Stirling which made for 2 days of great racing.
